You may need it as a backup before a Salesforce deployment or want to create a master branch for your Source Control system. Today, in this thoughtful blog by our skilled Salesforce developers, we will tell you how to retrieve metadata from your Salesforce Org using package.xml through workbench or VS code.

Steps

1- Create salesforce Org – Production/Sandbox
2- Login workbench.
