We at HIC created and configured a dynamic Lightning Component for Advologix’s client base to act as the bedrock for the multiple, custom page Layouts it provided. 

By design, these were meant to be accessible and launched from any object, and enabled Record editing from anywhere. Pages adding supported adding tabs to different views by departmental for interoperability.
