Operating out of Tampa Bay, Florida, Impulse is a compact network security and access control solutions company. The company provides security solutions that support requirements for modern collaborative work networks.
The company accommodates work, scaling, and vendor choice requirements through flexible solutions. It specializes in areas of Network Access Control, Endpoint Security, and Device perimeters among others. It’s now acquired by OPSWAT, a firm in the critical infrastructure protection space.
As a niche, network, and perimeter security provider with very involved, large scale projects, Impulse needed to weigh and deliberate the Opportunities that came its way against an internal point system and rubrics.
Also, Admins needed to send out updates to clients regularly to assure them of the project’s direction and timely delivery, especially for the enterprises counting on it for security-critical operations.
Customized Flows implemented an Impulse’s internal complexity calculator to assess Opportunities for life-time buying and service potentials, vendor-hopping tendencies, and a host of other decision-critical likelihoods and empirical values. Trade-offs for pursuing those Accounts were then contemplated by sales agents and development teams
Apart from this, Custom Batch Classes would send out weekly scheduled Reports for custom objects to help admins easily update clients on the development and task progress for their network security projects.
