Today, Salesforce has announced that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Apromore. Apromore is a renowned provider of process intelligence software. By incorporating Apromore’s cutting-edge capabilities into the Salesforce ecosystem, this strategic acquisition will help speed up Salesforce’s goals in the areas of agentic process automation, process mining, and real-time optimisation of business processes.

The closing of the Salesforce agreement to acquire Apromore is anticipated to take place in the fourth quarter of Salesforce’s fiscal year 2026, subject to the usual closing requirements and regulatory approvals.

He also added, “As our teams integrate Apromore into Salesforce, that insight will be critical to enabling our customers to unlock opportunities to measure, optimize, and automate through agentic process automation.”

What Apromore Offers: Optimisation and Visibility

Apromore gives customers the end-to-end visibility they need to understand how their business truly operates.

Steve Fisher, President and Chief Product Officer, Salesforce.

The goal of the acquisition of Apromore is to change how businesses perceive and automate their processes, not merely add functionality.

Here’s how:

1. End-to-End Process Visibility

By removing “operational blind spots”, Apromore offers a unified, cross-system perspective of how business processes actually operate across front, middle, and back offices.

2. Foundation for Agentic Automation

By mapping the as-is workflows, Apromore becomes a foundation for Salesforce’s Agentforce and broader automation strategy. It helps pinpoint where to deploy autonomous agents.

3. Measure, Simulate, Optimize

Process and task mining, digital twins and simulation, root-cause analysis, and intelligent compliance assurance are all part of Apromore’s toolbox. Organisations may use these technologies to forecast results, model suggested adjustments, monitor performance, and constantly improve procedures. Stay Tuned for Salesforce Updates.

For over a decade, we have been dedicated to democratizing process intelligence through cutting-edge research.

Marcello La Rosa, CEO and Co-Founder of Apromore.

Joining Salesforce is the ultimate acceleration of that vision. The majority of our customers already deploy our technology on Salesforce, and now, we can help enterprises around the world eliminate operational blind spots and drive measurable improvements at an unprecedented scale, he added.

Conclusion

Salesforce’s acquisition of Apromore marks a powerful step toward intelligent process automation and deeper operational visibility. By integrating advanced process intelligence tools directly into the Salesforce ecosystem, businesses can expect smarter, faster, and more connected automation outcomes.
