Our Client is a pharmaceutical wholesaler in the United Kingdom. It delivers pharmaceuticals to 14,000 pharmacies and other healthcare organizations.
They are the largest suppliers of medicines and medical devices to NGOs, aid agencies, and charities. These organizations provide essential medical supplies to developing countries as well.
Challenges Faced by the Client
Providing a community platform for partners and buyers to streamline their dealings, our client faced these major challenges:
- The existing UI hindered the visibility of Partners in the designated section
- Lack of systematic view of the statuses of the partners when their status changes
- Issues in fulfilling user requests because of unorganized data and updating the client about the status of the request.
To resolve these pain points, our client was looking for reliable Salesforce consulting partners to offer a befitting solution.
Solutions Offered
Our developers at HIC Global Solutions came up with the solution of customizing their community portal built on Salesforce Experience Cloud editions using AURA Lightning Components of Salesforce.
- Firstly, to solve the problem of adding a buying group on the experienced cloud platform a tile was created using the Aura Lightning component. Now the tile is accessible to the user and makes access convenient to the user.
- Once the user clicks on the tile a new information window pops up where the user can update/Remove/Add the required buying group in the portal. The process was interactive and convenient for the user. The user was very much satisfied with the UI of the page.
- The developers made the setting so that the client was able to see the data of the users where some action needed to be taken. The data was created under cases/opportunities in Salesforce for the clients to continue using the data for their operations.
- At the same time, developers enabled the notification for the user that his request had been sent. The whole process was to keep user satisfaction as the utmost priority.
