Challenges Faced

The Salesforce-to-POS solutions company was working on an AppExchange app that would later be monetized for enterprise use. In this instance, the consulting firm needed to enable mobile capabilities for Field Service Agents to make sales easy.

Prior to this, the company’s enterprise offering had no means to manage cash arrangements and transaction Records.

The Solutions:

Primarily, we implemented cash registers to track cash flows at different outlets. Further, Records were created for tracking refunds and billing payments.

As part of our solution, we made bi-compatible, responsive VF pages to support laptop and mobile use by agents, even without Salesforce access.

More importantly, graphical representations along a cash volume timeline indicated fluctuations in cash register holdings through Payments, Withdrawals, Void-orders, and Refunds.
